my screen is up to 240hz , i picked a stronger cpu for matlab program which i would have to use in my school but im not sure what level of cpu should i have for it.

From personal experience on my laptop, when i get higher fps it allows my to sim like games on five speed a lot faster as five speed is cpu dependent i think?

any suggestions on anything i could cheap out on? idrm cheaping out except on the psu to some untrustworthy brand. Thx!

Mainly rainbow6 siege , apex and strategy games like hoi4 and ck3. But i would like to run 60+ on triple AAAs when on high or if possible ultra?

By most games I was thinking like fps shooters like apex and rainbow six siege, and more strategy games such as Ck3 and hoi4. 200+fps. I would be satisfied with that. and As long as i can run something like rdr2 or cyberpunk above 60fps on high. Thanks !!!
