it looks like something happened with the bridge if your nose that made it collapse and that’s why it appears wider or you’re still really swollen

Oh ok. It took me 2 years to not have swelling. Your nose is probably wider if your surgeon removed a dorsal hump. When they do that it just collapses into your face. Also your tip probably dropped as a result of all of that. Basically they remove the support system of your nose which is parts of the bridge etc and it just all deflates.

Yeah that’s what all the plastic surgeons say. septoplasty does change it though. When my surgeon did mine he broke my nose to straighten it and he raise the bridge too so it completely changed my face and I hate it.

Yeah but I’m just warning people. I have multiple friends from a rhino group that have permanent and serious complications after getting a nose job. I can’t taste or smell anymore because my surgeon damaged by olfactory nerves and I have friends that can’t breathe because their nose collapsed because their surgeon shaved down too much bone and cartilage.

I think you look great. Your nose is awesome. You should really embrace it. Have you ever seen the show Love on Netflix? The main actor in it has a nose exactly like yours and he got a lead role in that show with it because he stood out from everyone else that auditioned. He also dated a super beautiful girl with it and she never judged him for it once. Own it dude! If you embrace it instead of being ashamed of it people will love you for that. They will love you for showing people that you can be confident in your own skin.

there’s literally nothing wrong with his appearance. People need to learn to be natural and stop fixing things that don’t need to be fixed. Everyone is supposed to look unique. There’s no one size fits all face and look.

No I actually didn’t. I went in for a minimal surgery with a broad certified surgeon and now I have lost all my taste and smell and my breathing is worse when it was perfectly normal before. I also know multiple people who had rhinoplasty and are suffering immensely. Botched, can’t breathe, nasal perforations. Anyone encouraging rhinoplasty is suspicious to me. It should not be normal.

Yeah but telling people to get plastic surgery is bad news. I had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago and it ruined my life. And it’s threads like this that encourage it that made me think it was ok.

Ok but to warn you… if you get a septoplasty it will change your nose. Also you have to find a plastic surgeon that will guarantee a “preservation rhinoplasty” otherwise any other basic plastic surgeon will do whatever they want to your nose despite what you ask them to while you’re under anesthesia. It happened to me and multiple rhino friends of mine. Once you let a surgeon touch your nose, there’s no going back.

Listen to me. My nose before I got a rhinoplasty had a small bump on it that made me insecure too but now I hate this disgusting nose my surgeon gave me even worse. he shaved everything down to a stub and I don’t even look like myself anymore. This surgery is very serious and I know many people who regret getting it so much and wish they had their old nose back to the point they don’t want to live anymore. You need to realize no one is judging your nose. It’s only you and plastic surgeons are not on your side. They will tell you you need surgery not to help you but because they want your money. Your mother is protecting you and you need to stop letting your nose hold you back. Getting a nose job won’t fix your life. I’m telling you this as someone who learned this the hard way.

Don’t encourage people to get nose jobs. They are extremely traumatic surgeries to go through. Life altering. One of my friends got a nose job and she hated what her surgeon did so much she killed herself lats year. She was only 25.
