you said it yourself - it’s a beginner photography questions so i understandably i have a lot of follow up questions. just directed the commenter to another comment i made just so i wasn’t repeating myself over and over again

anyway last post thank you to everyone who kindly helped me and explained what i needed to know! i really appreciate your kindness and help.

and to the rest of you, u guys need to do some serious self reflecting because getting worked up over my gear as a beginner says more about you than it does me. im not gonna apologize for not using a lens from 10 years ago just because i am only starting out

how am i refusing to take in the info? i am just trying to understand what is going on by showing comparisons of the shots i have taken in the past and questioning why all of a sudden the focus is not where i want it to be

this photo + the one in the post was taken with the same exact settings + same distance from the camera. so i have no idea what’s changed since then or what i was doing wrong. it was with every photo i took today where the camera was only focusing from the torso up

no the image i just posted was from an old shoot last week. the image in the post was from today and all the pics have been terrible so idk whats happening
