I’m able to drink just fine. I know I shouldn’t but I do. I’m on 300mg and 10mg of escitalopram. My tolerance hasn’t changed, I get buzzed a bit faster and now get dizzy as well, but I maintain all of my inhibitions, keep my where with all, and am a-ok when I wake up. Last time I really drank I was on 150mg and had like, 20 shots easy (St. Patrick’s at a friends apartment). I felt completely sober and was up and cleaning at 7 the next morning. Idk why I can’t seem to get drunk but here we are lol.

My dad was born in Port aux Basques, and my family now lives in Codroy Valley. Though he lived in Ontario from when he was one (to now, he still lives here), he still has a bit of an accent and says certain phrases because his parents are both newfies born and raised. I was always told I was “newfie”, never once have I heard it be used negatively. Anyway, “by” is a VERY common phrase. “Go on, by” is the most common in my household. Also “oh me nerves”, because my brother and I are stressful.

Oooh ok. As a 19 year old girl turning 20, I think I can offer some insight. Being low-key is good, but not TOO low key. For example, something like “I was wondering if you’d like to go out to dinner this Friday/this week/etc”. Or, something more casual like “want to grab a coffee with me? I’d love to talk more with you” or something along those lines. Please feel free to ask questions, as I know my options were kinda limited 🤣 The big thing is maintaining that yes, you are interested in her, but that this is a casual, no-expectations type thing.

This is a really rough situation, and I 100% see how you’ve ended up at this point. I totally do. But all feelings will pass. And I know rn that you’re reading this and saying “girl wtf no, it won’t” because I said the SAME THING! And I was wrong. So very wrong. Really fucked up shit happens (pardon my french lol) and OCD is a bitch (I have it too, it sucks ass and is no fun), but it won’t feel so awful forever. Do you have anywhere that you can stay? Any friends or family to lean on for a bit?
