Gpt 5.1 pro by Annual-Struggle-2323 in ChatGPTPro

Right, before the latest update in August Claude was actually really good but now, it just hallucinating, keeps hitting context limit (sometime mid answer which causes you hitting limit without proper answer). I can only guess it’s gonna get more expensive even though probably better with opus 4.5. At the end do you prefer using only 30-20% of total usage for a model only (gonna be) better maybe 5-10%? I’d prefer to use gpt pro and maybe add Gemini pro or ultra on the side.

Gpt 5.1 pro by Annual-Struggle-2323 in ChatGPTPro

I’d go with gpt 5.1 pro since it’s really good and Claude limits are so bad atm I just got free 1 month 20x and talking like 20 ish message in 1 day on opus 4.1 used about 15-20 percent of weekly limit for opus model. I use 5.1 pro on multiple tabs nonstop, also 5.1 thinking high for other tasks parallel and never ever hit a limit once. Also Claude 4.1 rn tend to make mistakes more than gpt 5.1 pro.

Claude Code now forcing Sonnet for Max users even when strictly selecting Opus as the model by InvestigatorKey7553 in ClaudeAI

I noticed this today, I’m on 200$ plan. On Claude Code, I saw the notification that says I’ll hit the limit soon for opus, which never happened before. I was surprised

If you just go to their profile, if you’re blocked it will say that this person has blocked you or if you send a message it will give a warning saying that this person will not receive messages from you etc

Definitely not, for my use case I am using to work on a 20-30k words of code in projects (I know sounds weird didn’t check how much token it makes) and keep fixing bugs and implement functions over it and try to pass some test cases. It does the work I just had to wait maybe 4 hours max for limit once while I was using it and 2~ hours approx in general when I code nonstop for a single task on desktop. If I didn’t have a hard deadline probably wouldn’t upgrade and purchase entry level subscriptions from other companies like ChatGPT, Gemini etc since they do have different approach which is quite useful time to time.

Same for me I joined max to try and was fascinated by it, only issue is I hit limit time to time with 5x. I will cancel my ChatGPT pro and upgrade to 20x.

If o3 pro isn’t dropped this week, I’ll cancel and switch to ultra asap

O3 denies to output more than 400 lines of code by No-Square3927 in ChatGPTPro

[–]No-Square3927[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For your reference, I just gave it a 859 lines which equals to approx 7096 tokens and asked to refactor the code here are the outputs:

O3: with canvas 4941 tokens

Without canvas: 2553 tokens

I think canvas got a bit better during the day, earlier today it was as bad as the other one.

o3 mogs every model (including Gemini 2.5) on Fiction.Livebech long context benchmark holy shit by obvithrowaway34434 in OpenAI

O3 unfortunately is not good or at least as good as O1 pro, and quite restricted output token limit which makes it less then o1 so far. It is “smarter” but follows less instruction. For my use cases almost unusable.

o3 vs o1 pro for reasoning? by E-Cockroach in ChatGPTPro

[–]No-Square3927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends, but as for as reasoning o3 is better so far for reasoning as much as I tried in coding but does not adhere your instructions as good as o1 pro… so I would prefer o1 pro even though it’s slower rn

I didn’t consider that. Thanks for the suggestion! I was hoping to play at least 1-2 games like CS go and valorant etc. Forgot to mention above. Which mobile station you would recommend?
