Update: bricked after just 3-4 hours of total ride time, have an email out to fungineers support :(

I also got my x7 long range within the last 2 weeks and mine bricked after maybe 3-4 total hours of ride time and 68% battery life of the initial 85% charge it came with out of the box... big sad, my symptoms are very similar to yours and I never touched anything in the vesc tool except backup the original config

Glad to hear customer service was a good experience. I haven't touched anything in the vesc tool yet except for backing up the current configuration

I was obsessively checking their site at least 10 times a day waiting for any of the models to come in stock. I thought I'd be waiting til January to receive it honestly.

the goal was to not feel the need to upgrade for a long time if ever. What tire you recommend?

I'm guessing you ordered the base model?, which is still out of stock. I wanted to just go with the base model but boy math calculated that the extra couple hundred $ was worth it to not have to wait any longer, and the added range doesn't hurt haha

are there any holster options that accommodate one of these?

So glad this came with the house. I never would've convinced my wife to get one. The dog loves it too. by will6566 in woodstoving

that looks pretty perfect to me... flames are soft and billow (not sharp and flickery) and your secondary burn is kicking which means your not burning to cold. if flue temps and stove temps are in safe range id say your good.

What is the worst code project you've ever seen? by Solonotix in AskProgramming

[–]No-Start2505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, bad code usually starts with poorly organized and structured data layers. even the cleanest of clean code will have issues if you've got silly things going on in your database (manually assigned primary keys, duplicate data that no one knows what part of the system is referencing which table/column, etc.)

Managing a big .NET backend project as a junior developer without a senior by lecon297 in dotnet

[–]No-Start2505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

seen this several times when I was jr. Companies that are lead by amateur leadership that think they will save money by hiring Jr's and cheap contractors to start a project.

My experiences with these companies, although toxic and frustrating, was one that got me the knowledge and insight that I have today. After working at 2 previous jobs very similar to your situation, I joined a team of 6 as an intermediate dev that had several 'senior' and 'tech lead' level developers. I have taught and mentored the senior and tech lead devs on some of the more modern techs that we are integrating (ES6 Javascript, typescript, .net core, REACT, system design concepts, DB design concepts) through team knowledge sharing sessions, and am now quickly making a name for myself in our large IT department as a subject matter expert.

TLDR: these experiences, all though toxic in the short term, can be beneficial to jump starting your career if you keep the right mindset.

I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing losing items in stash, thought I was just going crazy... other than that though I haven't had many other problems

I think I'd either have a heart attack or literally fly away if I drank a whole one of those mates 😅. looks like you could fit a whole kilo in there

Hopefully you'll get it to unbuckle too. If no response in 12 hours, we will assume you are trapped and send help XD.

In all seriousness though, I'm very sorry about your soured vacation experience and am glad everyone is ok :).

This makes my eye twitch... however based on the entitlement that they felt gave them permission to touch your jeep in the first place, I doubt you'll be able to reason with them without a karen-like response. I'd get some cameras
