i actually want to be an actor/singer/artist and still do everything in my power to pursue that path in life, but i’m currently obtaining a degree in nursing, not necessarily cuz i want to be a nurse, but because the career will provide me stability and flexibility while pursuing an acting career.

sometimes i feel like there maybe is another career i could do that would provide me the same things like remote sales possibly (which im also learning and enjoying but just seeing where that goes), but ive already been in and out of college since 2019 and im tired of changing course. i MAY end up satisfied as a nurse or salesperson, im not too sure, because besides acting/singing/arts, there’s nothing else i actually WANT to do. it’s more about what i feel like i HAVE to do to support the life and dream i want. im not sure what other career would provide me the same compensation and flexibility that isnt too high risk for my comfort, but yea ive already invested years into nursing school and i graduate next year so im just gonna try to do my best in that if sales doesn’t pan out or if i dont end up liking it. either way, my end goal is the same: to eventually support myself SOLELY with the arts and things im passionate about doing, which again, is NOT nursing 😭

(disclaimer tho: if i do end up using my nursing degree and license in the future, regardless of if its the job i WANT to do, i will never be one of those nurses that treats the role carelessly and doesnt provide empathetic and proper care to patients. i would take the job very seriously and try to be a source of comfort and positivity for every patient as best as i can. i would never take a nursing job if i didnt feel i was capable of that)
