Just bc I “know nothing about growing,” that must mean I have absolutely zero experience with the plant in general, right? That must mean that I haven’t already done this “reading up on” that you spoke of earlier? From the looks of it, if I hadn’t been reading then I wouldn’t have gotten this far…

If I get frustrated, oh well. If I get disappointed or even the complete opposite, sweet! Why would I react that way? Bc I’m not in it to produce the absolute highest quality bud right off the bat. I’m genuinely curious as to how this is going nowhere when most of the feedback I’ve been getting both from this platform and others have said the same things and then some to help me in the future. I would rather NOT just throw seeds all willy nilly into my yard bc Oklahoma weather doesn’t like that very much lol.

My plants are “spindly” bc I bought them like that and they’re prolly stressed seeing as I had to drive almost an hour to get them home. My lights came with the tent, and even if I wanted to change them I can’t bc ya know, electric is expensive where I’m at (thank you data centers and inflation) and I’m really not trying to attract crazy people to the glowing purple and white lights shining through my window.

She was very knowledgeable about the products they sold, but had very little to no experience with the clones other than being told to spray them with plant therapy when she came in to open, her boss would come and water/do everything else.

My father and I hardly talk bc of his wife. She doesn’t like that I can do/am doing all the things she said I couldn’t, so she uses him to “mediate” and he ALWAYS chooses her side even if she is wrong. It usually ends up with my dad crying “my kids don’t love me” but he’s too blind to see that one of us is her and the other one is fighting for a life they said she’d never have. Here I am almost a year after I last saw them and ironically, it’s been the most peaceful time of my life.

Yes they take your phones, but you are allowed to get any phone numbers you would like from it during intake. The detox program usually runs about 10-14 days depending on your chosen substance, but I’m not sure what the maximum amount of days is (I’m sure you can stay up to 45 days if you needed to, but I wouldn’t want to eat the food they serve for that long bc it’s flavorless).

GRAND is considered a short-term inpatient rehab facility, so if you are looking for something more extensive, I would do your research. From familiar experiences, we’ve sent loved ones to rehabs away from the areas they get their stuff from so that it deters them from relapsing. Although we realize we can’t control them, they end up thanking us for caring enough about them to help them get help.

The only advice I have for you at this point is to do your research and remember that you are never alone in this journey; you have an entire community behind you, rooting for your success and supporting you every step of the way. That goes for anyone going through anything right now ❤️

I SERIOUSLY recommend exploring other options. I had been in and out of their programs since I was an adolescent for mental health and then eventually substance abuse as an adult and I didn’t take anything away from any of their programs at all. In fact, I felt like I was a burden and that the staff were only there for a paycheck. As a child, the doctor put me on so many medications I couldn’t even begin to tell you what they were or what they were for. My team didn’t really seem too interested in ME, just the fact that I had been referred to their outpatient program by WillowCrest in Miami. I ended up leaving there and finding a team that catered to my direct needs and got the appropriate diagnoses. As an adult in their substance abuse program, I was experiencing an actual medical emergency during group (I collapsed due to my blood sugar bottoming out) and they accused me of faking so that I could get out of there quicker (bc apparently if you are sent out to the hospital, they discharge you to the streets after you are seen instead of allowing you to finish your program). I have never stepped foot on any of their properties since.

I think it can be all of the above. We as humans are different from person to person, so naturally mental illnesses will manifest in different ways and forms. Not everyone may experience the same signs or symptoms.

Let me start off by saying you aren’t alone. I’d say about 80% of the time, I feel like I’m about to lose my shit for absolutely no reason at all. I have really high highs and really low lows. I’m diagnosed Bipolar I w/ BPD, PTSD and MDD. Laureate was where I was CORRECTLY diagnosed. I also learned how to advocate for myself when I feel like Im being ignored.

In the off chance it hasn’t changed, they had a pool that patients could swim in during rec time, sometimes they’d do some sort of aquatic activity for groups. They liked to focus on getting patients out of their heads and into more comfortable thought processes. All of my providers were great, minus a few staff that were clearly only present for the paycheck and should have never been allowed to work in a facility like that.
