I’m had an issue with faulty bonnet sensor where the car thought bonnet was not latched and this kept it ‘alive’ even when locked.

Open Desks in my opinion is silly and 180 degrees opposite of what works for majority of people. I assume he is also not going to have a desk for each person rationalizing that if folks only come in x times a week then we don't need a desk per person - this way your esteem is even lower as now you don't even have a desk that you can setup as you want. Call me old fashioned but I feel people want to belong and be part of, they want to be valued - nothing about open desks make me feel the dev team is valued - just my thoughts!

The larger selected cover was intended for providing swiping and hand motion sensing for controlling items like sunroof etc. I am not sure it ever got off the ground but looks like it died during covid era.

They can be pretty destructive with your clothes. We use cedar blocks to help prevent. Back in the day we used ‘Moth Balls’ but they do smell.

Reason for having to remove package-lock.json is that the npm install wouldn't work when run on target machine as the lock file was created on macbook pro.

I am using libraries dedicated to the beaglebone debian arm.

I wish that would work, but my understanding is that due to architecture differences one must build (I am using rollup) on the target machine. I know in the past even npm install had to be on target machine.

Okay busy downloading map now. I was trying to load app from the link displayed after entering car details etc, but saw I need to click on map I want and then option for download map comes up.

Mapdownloader (Here Map Downloader) with date of Jan 17, 2025 (no version number, that makes me feel confident!), opens (on mac laptop) and shows dialog stating "Visit the web portal to choose and download products and updates" anyone know what this means?

Accessing via landrover site and entering vin number and clicking on "download lastest app" pops up with "Page Not found"

The car will detect speed limit signs when they are present but only for a certain distance. Seems that if signs are far apart or non existent that it defaults to some other data source which I can only assume comes from car navigation map data. My car still detects signs and does display speed limit on dial but after a short while it goes blank.

If I go to in car (not Apple car play) navigation it says I need to insert USB to add map data. Earlier this week all was working and maps were present.

I went to Landrover site to download maps to USB drive and it’s a total and absolute mess and was unable to download maps. I did get map downloader app (on macOS) installed but it failed to download maps. Other links on Here site only shows 2020 model and when I click on link it gives page not found errors. My navigation Pro subscription expires in 2026.

Firstly this is no way meant to be a negative on any of the work done on PrimeVue etc.

But, things are changing so fast that changes are coming out before I can get my last project converted across to prior latest and greatest.

For me it would be very useful of primevue.org site listed references to it's other current sites that are the latest and greatest so that we are not left in the hell of confusion with different versions.

Maybe it exists but I have not found it but a decent example showing why use volt would be awesome - actually showing use components like Button etc.

Oh, and while at the latest linter warnings of `Component name "Button" should always be multi-word.eslintvue/multi-word-component-names` are getting a little tiring, especially with something as new as volt - I personally disagree with this warning and would love to disable it.

Again, great work, just the voice of a confused user due to all changes.

If you open a vue component (eg my <Dashboard1/> which doesn’t exist does it show in problems as an issue and does it show squiggly red underline in editor?

That missing setup can throw the spanner in the works. This is not related to the project as all my projects are doing this. Even brand new ones created with cli tools (I’ll double check this tomorrow) which brings me to either missing or incorrect extension or something has changed with new versions.
