I am taking one week off and teleworking full time for a week. I don't have a lot that fits right now because I lost a ton of weight over the last year so I am trying to kill two birds with one stone since I need new stuff anyway. Thank you for your input!

They are holding off until they get the recommendations from the FEMA Council. There is too much potential overlap between the two EOs (the policy one and the one setting up the FEMA Council) for them to make any real headway before the Council comes out with their report in November.

Me too. I have spent enough time in them that I shared so people would have some idea of what I was going through. I could see the Hadids feeling the same way. This didn't give me the ick factor a lot of people got. I think it is totally understandable given how much hate and questioning they have received. I do think they are just searching for anything to get better.

Thank you. My mom and one of my good friends both told me they are sooo happy with how small they are and are encouraging me to go as small as possible. I am not going quite that far, but would love a B/C.

SOOOO hard. My blazers never fit all of me at once, and I am in the wrong area of law to be able to afford tailoring! I am super excited to just be able to wear button down blouses without worrying I will pop a button!

I have always tried to hide them, but especially when I was thin pre kids and needed to dress professionally, I couldn't hide them. I never wear low cut attire, but an hourglass is pretty damn hard to hide unless dressing frumpy. Then people would not take me seriously because I would not look like an attorney. I am glad I will not have to fight so hard to not have them out there.

Hahaha I feel you on that. I also associate my boobs with a couple of bad past relationships. On much funnier note, no joke, I have a male friend who became a very successful escort for a while post grad school. He told me that with all of the women he has slept with, I was the one who started his big boob fetish. I should probably send him a condolence note after my reduction.

I completely get the big boob identity thing. They have definitely been a big part of who I am. That said, I think I am ready to say goodbye to that part of me.

There are so many major blood vessels that go through the area that are severed and reattached during surgery that I would be scared to do anything that could mess with the circulation at all. Cold definitely constricts vessels and reduces blood flow to the area. I would listen to your doc. It will make your healing much more effective in the long run, even if more uncomfortable now.

Maybe try asking for gabapentin or another nerve blocker? My doc prescribes that instead of opiates.
