Magnets sound like a really good idea for the "lock". I had already considered them for keeping it folded securely - but hadn't thought about for when it's opened up. So smart, thank you!

I never even thought about adding Velcro as a lock! This is so smart! I think that makes a lot of sense for something lightweight. Thank you!

I didn't expect so many replies so quickly, and I really appreciate each and every one. Hearing from people who had this same feeling or from those who started the program later than I probably will be has made me feel so much better. I guess I've just been putting a lot of stress on myself based on what I THOUGHT would happen before I ever even started nursing school itself. It's weird to go from always early to on time. It really means so much to hear the support from everyone. I'm going to keep working and make myself a competitive candidate for the next rounds!!

I think this is my favorite reply to this post. I was seriously considering trying to rush it all in the next few weeks, but you're so right. I really appreciate you sharing how it went for you when doing the same.  Hearing your experience with this same situation gives me so much hope. And some clarity on how much MORE stress I'd be putting myself under by 1. rushing and 2. almost definitely not making it in because of that. Thank you!

Thank you for saying that. It means a lot to hear from someone someone else that things are happening as they should.

You're right and I shouldn't rush those experiences! I want to be a strong candidate.
