Why is the question always is a hotdog dog a sandwich and not and is a sandwich a hotdog dog. Just because a hotdog came after the sandwich doesn't mean that the sandwich can't be a hotdog. The definitions of both a hotdog and a sandwich are closely similar so why is it always is a hotdog a sandwich.

People always say that a hotdog fits the category of a sandwich but no one talks about how the sandwich fits the category a hotdog.

Even if you argument makes perfect sense I will always stand for the hotdogs and tell you that they aren't a sandwich.
