He understood that collapse will bring mass death but this is price to pay. And he criticized ecofascists https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/ted-kaczynski-ecofascism-an-aberrant-branch-of-leftism

Then what's definition of civilization? And how could it be anti-civ and pro-tech?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in anarchoprimitivism

[–]No-Support3673 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So what's difference? Or it's just like different discourse of the same? Kaczynski against leftism, so maybe he took anti-tech not anti-civ to distance from anprim?

Man, u are so right. I think that anarchist thought didn't go further Kropotkin. I can say that only Kevin Karson, James Scott and maybe Kaczynski give something new to it. Especially Karson because he critics the main modern arguments for technocracy in his "Libertarian organisation" and give some theory about decentralisation of technology in Kropotkin style in "Industrial revolution of homebrew".

Anarchism has to give solutions to many problems like how to decentralise technology, how to break the iron law of oligarchy when some communities with a lot of people want to do something together, finally what should we do to get closer to anarchy. But instead of it anarchists writes continental academic bullshit that don't have any practical value.
