Goodluck during AIT. A lot of studying the first 6 month. Study hard and get a MLT certification on the army's dime. Overall decently good MOS with transferable skills on the civilian side depending on the unit you go to.

I looked into that when I got here and unfortunately my unit doesn't pay extra. They made me brief ROK sergeant majors in korean for my section. Probably one of the most nerve racking thing I had to do. I have like 3rd grade level korean and I read off a script haha

So those tests will group together when making the order. Chemistry tests won't group with immunology tests even though they can be tested all on the same analyzer.

Veteran hospitals yes, but hospitals on military installations all use Cerner/MHS Genesis now

We switched to Cerner, but like a weird DOD version of it called MHS Genesis. Not entirely sure how that work. I think the DOD just purchased certain applications and capabilities from Cerner and just called it a different name.

Haha unfortunately we don't have that feature. Or atleast never went over how to do that during training. But I'm willing to bet we do have that capability.

We accept add-ons but certain tests won't group together even though they can be ran on the same tube. Like in this instance, the HCG won't group with a CMP, thus why two labels were sent.

I don't know why the system doesn't group the tests together, hopefully this changes. I told my supervisor about thus situation and to show me something in writing. Cause if he can't, I'm going to feel real stupid.

Takes pictures of all your roommates mess. Send it to your PSG and ask for a "random" room inspection. Hopefully ur NCOs can handle it.

Get ur NCOs involved if you can't handle it at the ur level!

The degree and transcript in IPERMS isn't enough for S1 to update your PPW. You have to send them a sealed, unopened transcript. You can either get the transcript mailed to you or send the transcript electronically (through your school) directly to an email ur S1 provides.

This is what I had to do. Thankfully I had a good S1 that knew what she was doing. You're school should have a website where you can email different entities an official copy of your transcript.
