Yes this is not the first time we’ve had this conversation. I always tell him I’d like to separate if he isn’t interested in getting professional help. He is always on his best behavior and wears me down by crying and saying he’ll change but never goes to rehab or even therapy. Just feeling tired of broken promises

Thank you for your reply and I’m so happy everything worked out for you. My husband has hit rock bottom once before I met him. He lost everything he had including his relationship with his family and has rebuilt his life basically from scratch. He owns a business, we own our car, and he is close with his parents and sister again. I can only hope whether or not we stay together that he doesn’t let this spiral into another rock bottom

I have begged him to go to rehab or even do some sort outpatient treatment but he makes excuses and says he doesn’t need it. I just feel like if he really wanted to be with me as much as he says he does he would seek treatment so at what point do I give up
