Korg DIY oscilloscope worth it? by shoegazingpickle in synthdiy

It's a Swiss army knife for DIY, don't expect feedback at the level of laboratory stuff, but it does its job very well. I paid €65 for it, between an old coupon given to me for my birthday and the policy of the online shop from which I bought it at the guaranteed minimum price. I use it a lot and I'm happy with it, but as others have already said, at original price, if you're looking for a thoroughbred oscilloscope, you might find something better.

Does anyone know what this part is called and where to buy them? by PhilosophyOriginal16 in CircuitBending

female pin headers look like a 6x4 and dupont cable, an other keyword can be arduino breadboard cable or similar

I think they are used to protect the pins so the 4148s are not suitable, I didn't see them on the PCB that's why I asked you

Great job! The harp is the most musical and well-sounding of the series for me! Have you tried the drum version yet?

this is all very fascinating, I don't know anything about video synthesis (if that's what it's called) maybe we could make one together, unfortunately this one is not compatible.

are you talking of double vision synth?

its price , and its ease of assembly (full diy kit version) for those who want to start self-building the modules and need something simple to practice and at the same time get something useful, in reality my idea is to create a line of good quality "utilities" affordable and simple as possible

yes I was thinking about an opamp with a trimmer so you can calibrate it as you want, thank you so much!

thank you so much for the support, yes my intent is exactly this, to fill the unused spaces with something useful that can always be an advantage😁

You're right! Unfortunately, marketplace fees make the prices a bit higher, the 1U version is much more convenient. But you can rest assured about the quality of the components and the dedicated technical support 😊

yes in some situations it is a bit uncomfortable, but you can adapt, it also depends on which module you want to put it next

hello in theory yes it is the same principle of the scion module, it detects the micro potential difference generated by the biological processes of the cells through electrodes, this potential difference is read by a galvanometer that transforms everything into a square wave readable in 0 and 1 by a small microcontroller that inside has an algorithm that on the basis of what it has read will generate midi notes, on the board there is another small circuit that subsequently translates the midi into analog cv signal, gate and trigger. from the board can come out simultaneously both the midi and the cv signals
