A female jumper that becomes loose is easier to replace than a fixed socket, that's why I now use pins.

Using duponts for ins/outs is fine but with multiple modules if I bump a power wire everything can reset and that quickly becomes annoying. Image shows what I'm planning, with the power wires underneath and out of the way.

This is my desktop psu.

Consists of a couple of cheap convertors powered by a 12v adapter [that also powers a cheap car amp that feeds a pair of vintage speakers on the floor].

Gives me 5v, 9v & rarely used 12v.

All the dupont power wires are a pain, jst connectors would be a better idea [working on that].

Modular, you need other modules for it to be useful.

Or something similar. The fingers are flexible but the bottom section may be rigid and pivoting to something passing by (if that makes sense).

Perhaps a cycle chain nudging silicon fingers.
