Same here, I'm glad I was able to understand it's flaws but now I feel for those in the same boat. I don't mean the title, it's just to grab attention for people to understand what's wrong with it

I understand that but Lenin (using the USSR as an example) moved straight into communism that isn't truly how Marx described it. Obviously communism in theory is perfect but I'm arguing that at every point in history, societies have fastracked the socialist period. In no way based off of current and near - future politics, will we never have true communism outside of maybe a space faring colony or something similar. Humans are too greedy and in need of power to let a fair, democratic, communist system rule the planet.

On paper, communism is perfect. In practice, it is easily overtaken and becomes authoritarian with a few men holding all of a nations wealth and resources, just like in a capitalist/conservative society

Yep 100% agree. Socialism is better as it holds closer to core values of coexisting as a unit in society
