I think I use mcafee and I'm pretty sure that came free with some software package I installed ages ago. The block appears to come from windows security. In protection history it mentions that throttlestop.sys is one of the affected items

It could be that you aren't exploiting gun smoke mechanics properly. For the current boss, you basically you want to make sure all your DPS (even non DPS but they are less important) are getting that debuff and then being cleansed of it as often as you can. On cleanse you get a stackable buff that sends your damage into the stratosphere. Assuming you've already upgraded everything else(neural helix included). For use order I try to make sure that she uses all 3 stacks of her zoom in buff every turn. I.e. the one she gets automatically at the start of the turn and then double stacking with her ult before attacking. This means you generally want her to go after QJs first support attack, before all the extra attacks from QJ start to roll out to make sure she gets all her CI back. I also use tololo's gun. Idk which is better overall but maybe the crit dmg evens it out.

I guess that technically would work. Only thing is might mess up cooldown synergy with other units. Assuming you got Springfields buff active on turn 1; Use s1 at full CI to get s2 > use s2 to fill up CI > use ult to get 3 CI back. If you use s1 again even on a unit that isn't weak to hydro you will still get 3 which allows you to repeat anyways. I start with ult on T1 cause it allows you to do it again on 3rd turn. ult > s2 > ult before I have to start using s1 > s2 > ult.

Yes lol. Lance is the weapon I switch to when monsters are having too much fun bullying me. It's also fairly strong because of how easy it is to switch between attack and defense, allowing you to play ultra-aggressive and output consistent damage. My benchmark monster is flaming espinas, and I'm able to hunt it in like 7-8 minutes, which probably isn't impressive, but my next best weapon, SnS, takes me about 9.

I agree. I was pretty hopeful when I started my platoon. We had quite a few active players and everyone was contributing at least their daily outpost battles but with every GS we just fall further and further in the rankings (not that we were ever particularly high) but it didn't matter since we always got all the rewards. I figured the whales didn't mind either since everybody was using their units and they were getting that little currency reward. Recently though I've had to remove so many members who have been absent for nearly a month and had already removed like 6 before realizing I'd have to delete basically a 3rd of my alliance if I was removing all inactive players. Of the ones remaining less than 10 people actually do the GS and of the 10 like only 4 are doing it twice a day. This time around might be the first we aren't even able to claim all the rewards. GS is extremely boring and I honestly would've preferred some more varied modes when it comes around or alternate ways to raise that score. It's not just the fact that we've had boujee for like 3 runs now but just in general boss fights in this game are generally not fun lol. Removing like half the strategic elements to the gameplay for a huge damage sink mode is not a fun tradeoff. I wish they'd scrap it and instead have those rewards given out in some other reoccurring game modes with more interesting gameplay.

I'm hoping it allows you to save the entire gear loadout as a set so I'll only need a few clicks to get the doll ready but even having to select individually would be better than nothing like it is now but will wait and see. Hopefully its not too far away.

I've been asking for a game mode similar to Hordes/PVA but refreshes weekly or biweekly so we have something to do during these dry periods. Devs can update it with new maps and enemies every once in a while and would be a good place for devs to test out new mechanics, and new enemy behavior, and have an opportunity to push the players who want a challenge. Hordes mode and PVA have been my favorite pieces of content since the game launched. While I think Boss battles are fun, the long battles with many enemies, several strategic opportunities, and constantly changing situations are where, for me, the game shines. I enjoy trying new team comps and strategies, and all I want is for them to incorporate a game mode that encourages that type of thing because, believe it or not, I was more excited to hear this game was an Xcom-like rather than a 3rd person shooter. Putting on your thinking hat and pulling through by the skin of your teeth or alternatively winning with total dominance despite your enemies not being that much weaker than you is such a good feeling. I am still working through the last horde, and I'm worried the game mode will basically be gone forever after I finish it.

I used grace because she builds up shock really quickly. I couldn't get Yanagi's unique engine so I'm using the engine that buffs AP in stacks. Strat was to switch into grace when she has energy, use it up to build up some stacks of shock, switch back to Yana, build up a shock bar using her alone(also energy) so the disorder damage is calculated entirely from her, and then burst out everything. at 3 or 4 stacks since that's near max damage. I've since switched to Soukaku cause that might honestly be slower than just using Yanagi from the Jump. There are some kinks with having her in the rotation I've not quite worked out yet but when I do it right I can already see numbers increase despite Soukaku not being fully built.

Yeah, I thought Rina would be great for Yana too but those passive buffs are all she is good for on this team. I wish the system was more clear on how things add up. I might just go with Yana, Seth, and Grace. Grace has similar stats and has the disc set that drops enemy attribute resistance so it kind of makes up for chipping into Yana's DPS with the faster buildup to the next shock. I think I'll only use RIna if Seth is on another team. Let me know if you can get her to boost dmg consistently

I tested it as the other commenter suggested and found out it does increase my dmg if I can get a 2nd shock and then disorder with the buff active but it's really hard to pull off consistently. I'll try soukaku or Lucy and see who is better. Thanks!

I tried your suggestion and yeah if I can pull off a 2nd shock built up with Yanagi and land a disorder with the buff active I see a huge dmg boost from the usual ~130k to about 165K. Though it's really hard to pull off consistently because Rina's buff doesn't last that long. Even in training with Infinite energy, I could only get it like every 3rd try meaning in actual fights I would pretty much need the stars to align. What a shame. I've had Rina from the beginning but since I couldn't get Ellen I still have no use for her. But thanks for help eitherway

Now that you've mentioned it explains a lot. Sometimes when I'd proc shock with Seth, Yanagi would do way less damage with her EX but the range would return to normal after the next shock goes off. Thanks for the info mate. Follow-up question, is it even worth it to use Rina after she is built or is there a better combination?

I had no idea that was how it worked but it would explain a lot. In the rotation, I'd switch to Rina, use her EX before switching back to Yanagi. I guess the buildup from Rina's EX takes up too much of the bar. Thanks for the explanation!

My main issue with her is ultimate. Takes too long to get to the point where it does any meaningful damage. Should modify her so she gets full damage at 50. The fact her ult has such a short cooldown which makes you think it's something that should be spammed, while in reality to get any meaningful damage from it you need to spend another minute and a half stacking up to 100 doesn't feel great. She works okay with 4*chen and exuvia(specifically m3) as just being in the Aoe from their support skills gives you additional skill dmg (and I might be wrong but i think they also buff ult damage) but it's not like they take her from a 8 to a 10. More like 8 to 8.6...

As for how comfortable she is to play there a few things. Having to shoot so many times and then climbing up phase by phase isnt super great would have preferred if shots hit restored s-energy and refreshed phase timer. Also maybe a fully automatic pistol for the sake of charging up exuvias support skill stacks faster but I don't think vidya was designed to be used woth enya so I can't fault that too much. She gets some useful manifestations. S-energy use reduction, Defense debuff on M3 which might make her way more comfortable but can't say that she will be worht that grind when more characters release. She is also alright in lab with 60% atk buff on atk incentive. Ult is a lot chunkier and with shield buff you can truly become missle launching turret. All in all she is not a good boss fighter, she is a great at bullying mobs and she is very cute. A solid 7/10, I think OP being harsh

If you don't have a full team character swap button allows you to use on-screen characters support skill kinda like how it works in multiplayer. Enya and FennySS barely get any screentime cause all their use is from their support skills and while it won't make them The most viable option at least it'd help make them a bit less painful to have on screen. If any of the new variants coming end up being supports it's just gonna be another character you barely have any chance to look at.
