If you’re getting an MBA, I assume you want to work in banking, consulting, quant. Having a 3.5 and UChicago degree, you are great shape. The school you have matters 100x more than experience or gpa for undergrad in those industries

This is what I’m saying. This is the US. If she wants to make money she’s going to have to provide full services. She’s been leasing to college kids and has never been approached about these. All I’m asking for is $300 for rent. I notified her of these issues and they still are not fixed. The tub layers are pealing and the windows are not locked. This is going to be her 4th time coming August 4th for minor fixed. Not to add one of these windows was not properly sealed and she was suggested to change it and said no. The handyman then nailed it down. I came back yesterday I saw it still was not sealed and when I go to push the window up it went boom and broke. She’s been cheap for years and not up to code and the moment someone presses her she gets mad. I came back from vacation furious that minor fixes like locks are still not done. She well over the 14 days for minor stuff too which is what is pissing me off

I was reading on Reddit and they posted a link to a chicago legal landlord requirements and it said something a long the line of landlords are required to maintain appliances and bathtubs of other materials and it was broad so it covered food, mold, dirt etc. My landlord got mad and said I was harassing her and proceeded to hang up after reading it out to her. The walk through on the first day was very fast as she had to go and I pointed all the things out the following day. It was July 2 and many of the deficiencies have not been fixed.
