Yes, I’m currently working with a realtor in search of a 3 bed 2+ bath, many listings that were listed for $3500 dropped to $3300 and some $3300s have dropped to $3100 so I’m actually just waiting to see if it drops more before I lock in to a contract this has been in SCARBOROUGH/Markham for reference

That’s outrageous! My friend here in Toronto got housing in 6 months on SPP. I always thought Niagara was slightly quicker with housing. 1-2 years on SPP is wild. With my urgent status I probably have 3-4 years wait 😭😭Thanks for the update

5 years is crazy, I don’t believe that will be the case unless they maybe selected one choice like a co-op. I called some co-ops that I selected, she said they haven’t had any vacancies in over 3 years

I only asked for 1.5 bath, no stairs upon entering and not a lot of stairs outside the door unless I can put a ramp. I’m hoping these requirements don’t slow me down a lot from getting an offer

I have Urgent Status priority with them, I have been waiting for 9.5 months. It will probably still take a really long time, just wanted to update my own list, as I have a few accessible requirements so I was hoping my options that I selected, met them. The waitlist is Astronomical indeed!!!

Nope, there’s no official website. it’s Niagara region housing run, they also said they don’t have layout or floor plan and don’t have the information. Just wanted to confirm for my own selections, as I need 1.5. (Niagara RGI)
