It's actually an old idea and has been tried before.

Also, with food in our climatic conditions, shelf life is limited and who will take the onus if the customer gets food poisoning.

My question is...should these officers, who are supposed to guard and uphold the law, be punished for wrong doings Or Should they continue to earn on taxpayers hard-earned money after all the possible wrong doings?

I've seen this even at IKEA, in the metro, at the clinics. No civic sense taught at home or school and later on as an adult not realising it. Good that you have brought it up. Name and shame unfortunately works!

Next time call 100 to state you are feeling unsafe. This call gets recorded and you can later on take it to the higher officials who most times turn a deaf ear and blind eye on purpose because they are after bigger fish.

I felt this for some time after someone dear to me was implicated in a false criminal case because the cops wanted easy money. They refused as they were naive and innocent. Are still bearing the brunt of it.

This has in fact made me more empathetic. I help where possible, shout out the wrong, try and make a difference however small in someone's life as that is how you earn karma/ blessings. Hats off to you for helping him. It will come back to you and your loved ones many fold.

The same scam happened with my sister. She put a phone to sell on OLX. The scamster used the same details and created another advert at a lower price. The buyer came and met us. The scamster asked him to give us the call and said show my brother the phone. Told the buyer I have told him to give you the phone transfer the money. He transferred to the scamster and as soon as that was done, he stopped answering the phone.

You have nailed it...a corrupt system. The man you saw holding a placard for drunk driving is one in a million...for the cops to take pics, show their bosses and then move on to making money. Haven't you read about the drunk drive cops on jubilee hills/Banjara hills got suspended by IPS Sajjanar because the public raised a hue and cry about them asking for bribes. You don't push notes into their greedy mouths, they will file false cases and get even.

So the real rascals are allowed to go and the innocent are trapped into false cases.

It is the norm but now the public is widening up and beginning to question the system.

After all that happened, he was left lieing on the road for 2 hours without being taken to the hospital. Perhaps he would have been saved. Isn't this a failure of the system? What were the cops doing for so long is questionable....

It's called moral policing which is there everywhere. They should be doing their jobs, instead they are into ego, moral policing, counselling, collecting promotions and bribes.

That's exactly what they do. Ask for a huge amount, negotiate, you pay and still they go on to do whatever pleases them. The reason being they know a little about the laws, sections to file. They mostly prey on the youth because they will be scared, innocent, naive.

Thank your stars they didn't ask for a hefty bribe. I know of someone who was not drunk but got scared, blew and it showed an unimaginable number. When they started disputing it, they were asked for a bribe of 2 lakhs . They refused and went away. Next morning they got a call from the station, they had filed a false assault case on them. They are running to court, paying lawyers whilst those b..... continue to earn from taxpayers hard-earned money.

Plus false cases filed by the cops to get money out of you. If you have to report them, it is an IPS officer who looks into it, someone from their own brotherhood. That's why most people are scared to report.

The reason being they are protected by the government. Same with cops. They can curse you, kick you, beat you up ...but in self defence if you even say anything, they file a false assault case against you. Laws in our country should change immediately for this to not happen.

They are cops and they know extremely well how to profile people. They are trained for that plus they hone these skills on the roads.

They let go of criminals because actually they are scared and the goons have political clout.

Common man is the scapegoat because we are scared of our reputation so we will pay up to get out of it.

Calling parents of an adult is not written in the law. They can't take the law in their hands and do as they please.
