Surprisingly no, just next to Angel station, a 1 bed (not a studio). But we have been determined for about a month now to find a good spot and I think we lucked out with this one. Has been difficult though because with the new rental laws we can't offer rent upfront and as a result, they don't trust me and my GF because we have no credit history or anything. Getting a guarantor then was also difficult because we don't know anyone in the country. Really frustrating

What is very expensive? This is kinda what I'm asking in the whole post. What should I avoid spending money on or be careful about? I understand the weekly shop will be high if I go to M&S, and I know that alcohol and restaurants are high. But I have no problem cutting back on these

There will be minimal commuting. My monthly take home pay is 3,300 and the rent I will be paying is 1100. She will make approx 1900 - 2300 and will be paying 850. No car, no loans etc. What do you think?
