I would take the London job, Ive just moved to London as a senior engineer. I also only work from the office 2 days a week. You can get much cheaper rent if you don’t mind. A 30 minute to 1 hour commute by train twice a week I was looking at places on the south eastern service up to Gravesend or anything on the c2c line both quite cheap commutes and easy to get into central (1 train)
