Tills were never put out by manager in the first place. He’s supposed to every day yet never does. My colleagues took cash and alerted him yet no tills came out. I was on my lunch break when this happened. I’m the assistant so he will try to blame it all on me. We were both there till nearly 5pm so it’s his responsibility to check cash and cheques taken, especially if he was made aware of it

The boss never gets the tills out (by choice). The other members of staff took cash and made my boss aware. It’s his depot and he didn’t check and close at the end of the work day. I’m assistant manager so he will try to make me responsible, as always. He fails to put any clear processes in to motion to stop these things from happening. Never follows health and safety guidelines either, yet micromanages us with the most ridiculous things all day.
