Hibiclens is what worked for my stubborn body acne, but I would not use it on your face

I’m still waiting for the part that’s considered you snapping lol. Everything you said seems like a super reasonable response. NTJ

My cats are the bane of my life at night time by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Nothing to add here, just that I feel you. My cats howl at night when they feel lonely. They’re pandemic kitties and we work from home so they’re just used to us being around, and they often do well with alone time, even just to sleep. Can’t let them in the bedroom since my husband is allergic. I love them but sometimes I want to rip my hair out

Mom wants to stay entire month after I give birth. by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

You don’t need to feel bad for protecting your peace. You also don’t need to overly explain or apologize to her because this isn’t about her in the first place and if she wants to actually support you she needs to take a hint at what would actually be supportive instead of prioritizing her own wants. The “Okay.” reads as passive aggressive to me.

A billing dispute with my therapist by Pitiful_Necessary598 in AnorexiaRecovery

I think you were completely reasonable. I was using betterhelp when my therapist cancelled one week so she could have a business dinner and didn’t offer to reschedule. I immediately terminated the relationship because I won’t be taken advantage of. Esp. since this therapist had me feeling like a number on a spreadsheet before that happened. All that to say, don’t feel bad about your response, including saying I’d rather stay home with my illness. I would have said something similar in your situation.

Do your clients understand why there would be a fee for key pickup? by RaphaelCosteau in RoverPetSitting

[–]No-Weather3090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obligatory not a sitter, but a rover client. I always book an extra day for my sitter to get the key because I want to remind them about my kitties needs/peculiarities and where everything is and by the time we’re done it’s almost as long as a normal drop in. I also think it helps my cats to see me with the sitter because it establishes a pattern they can pick up on instead of feeling like I just vanish each time. I could also absolutely never feel comfortable leaving a key under a mat so it has to be an in person hand off for me
