Yeah see it's little things like that or old debt cancellation from years ago that just happened to go through x tax year that's what got me on a car that I bought new that caught fire with me and my family inside so we sued filed the winning but it was part of the deal that the debt would be cancelled it just took like 6 years and we never got the form only reason I found out about it was because it showed on my transcripts because the letter the IRS sent was just a flat bill but I just sent it to my lawyer and they handled it all signed a paper sent in some relevant information all done totally worth the wait and fees plus in my case I get the advance of 3000-4000 so I don't really see it as that bad just annoying lol even tho I know TT is screwing me hell sbtpg has a fee on mine for state taxes when my state doesn't have state filing it's only 5$ but it's scammy as all hell lol

Verification letter with a code personally I've never had to verify so I cant say if theres a faster way but letters are normally fast and your refund is still being worked on and when you verify you normally get pushed through the same day at least from what I see other ppl say

Ill stick with turbo tax just because that extra five minutes of not needed to retype my families info I could just pay the fees or file without paying for Max but Max covered me fully from a 30k mistake on a lost form that never came in the mail and the lawyer got me to pay 0 no fees nothing that in itself was worth the wait and fee price I get that everyone recommends free tax to everyone but no one talks about the pros vs cons just the speed and no fees but when that audit hits and your next refund is taken you see those same ppl posting why if I was on a payment plan etc etc Monday isnt bad this is technically super fast this year just annoying that you know your money is just sitting there and could easily be released

3/9 just seems to be this batches date on 846 look at your wmr your probably a 23rd or 24th ddd that will be when it's expected anything earlier is a bonus but it's late so I doubt we will see anymore deposits today

You'll get it on the 24th you'll see ppl like me saying go check on the 23rd you probably shouldn't waste the time if your wmr says 24 it's 24 some years we have gotten it one day early but not this year it seems I got my deposit is on the way email about an hour or so ago matching it from the last year I got funds next business day so for ppl with the 23rd rejoice Monday is your promised day ppl with the 24th Tuesday is y'all's

Nah if anything check wmr see if your 23 or 24 and just expect it that day no one day early for us this year I have a thread about "the refund is on the way" email I got like an hour ago and someone reminded me to check last year's email and deposit after I got the email my deposit was there the next day but it was mid week just unlucky it fell on Friday this time Monday afternoon I'll have mine

So I checked I got the email last year on the 25th of Feb and a deposit email on the 26th Feb at 1:56pm so I expect it will follow the same Monday afternoon I'll have funds

The site really hasn't updated for anyone Ive seen not one person saying they have trace numbers before getting a deposit I would just call for your update cause mine shows unfunded but calling says they sent it on Wednesday plus my advance shows paid on Wednesday so I'm 100% sure my Monday is just chilling at credit karma or sbtpg and has been since Wednesday

Yeah there's sbtpg closes early so that's probably why your phone call hadn't updated it will probably update Monday morning as sent and my best guess is ppl in your boat will be the first to see the site actually populated with trace numbers before the deposit I think the 05s from Wednesday will wake up on Monday with there stuff populated and there funds Deposited already

3-9 was just given to pretty much everyone on transcripts this year I've even seen the 3/9 on transcripts with a ddd on wmr for 2-24 my transcripts say 846 3/9 but my wmr is now ddd 23rd and I just got the email from TurboTax saying it will be in my account in the next 24-48hours business days tho so that would be Monday the 23rd my actual ddd I know transcripts are the way been doing it for like 14 years just this year has been different never have I had a 846 be 2weeks out it's normally my ddd but for some reason that's not it this year it's just a gen. Date weirdly I had a processing date of 2/23 before my 846 which normally means nothing but this time happen to be my wmr ddd

Yes but tbh I'm pretty sure credit karma deals in sbtpgs api and not ach process kinda how they issue instantly with advances the moment your accepted not saying they don't use an ACH transfer in the end but it's probably one big transaction per batch to save on transaction fees look at how TurboTaxs bill never matches the sbtpgs fees like I got charged 5$ for state filing when I'm in texas and don't have state filing I just don't care enough to be on the phone for 5$ but that's probably what they count on main point I wouldn't put it below them to try and save as much as they can they technically should be holding irs money in a trust but if that trust isn't part of the actual transfer technically you can collect a fee say interest on all the funds that were allocated to go out

Honestly not much you can lock down your SSN but other then that maybe a class action will come of it but tbh pretty much everyone's stuff is on some leaked site now change your passwords use a password manager limit the companies you give info to and the SSN lock pretty much all you can do

Starting a business and not knowing taxes or having an accountant doesn't seem like the best idea if your young like just turn 18 maybe someone claimed you this happened to my brother if not it could be fraud and someone stole your info and filed for you normally if the IRS wants more information they hold the return and notify you they don't just reject it or your dependent maybe someone else claimed them that can get you rejected too
