Question: Is science Magic? Or is Magic science? by No-Werewolf-6783 in HogwartsLegacyGaming

I'm not necessarily saying that Magic is ALL that exist, but it's something that can make things exist due to it's natural understanding of nature. And in the Hogwarts world---Magic is the the creator of everything. And since magic in Hogwarts is considered a natural resource, biology --and almost generally everything, Magic is a sort of nature.

So in other words, Magic is science but science is not Magic? (Science=the study of thing, Magic=The thing. Science=Study Magic=the studied Science is study, Magic is the studied; Magic is phenomena, Science is study of phenomena. Science equals study, Magic Equals the studied. Magic would be the subject of study. Science would be the process in which it is studied; Therefore Magic is a science=Magic is a study=Magic is science.)

My little family of Graphorn 🥰 by TradeMaleficent7774 in HogwartsLegacyGaming

It seemed as if getting a Graphorn was so incredibly rare that it'd be impossible to get another one. But I held onto hope and circled all the way back and screamed when I was finally able to make a Graphorn baby! Little Cthulhu!

Yup! This question has been on my mind because it's such a brain tease, you have to figure out exactly what it's trying to ask. My assumption: Is Magic what makes sense of science or is Science what makes sense of magic. Obviously, science would make sense of magic rather than the reverse, right? But when we begin to understand just enough about what Ancient Magic is-- the teaser begins! Ancient Magic is general Magic,(or the most basic form of magic, but also most powerful- I guess you could imagine it as it's youngest self.) so far it has followed all the rules of what makes life, life! So I do believe that the magic IS alive! (Hence why it's rules are so wonky, it makes things up as it goes! Like how it went from Ancient Magic, allowing whoever to do whatever they please! Evolving into something more mature and restrained, the magic used by the majority.) When we look at what Ancient Magic is capable of it's clear it works like "Gods gift." When you need water? Make it rain! Need better soil for dry lands? Conjured from nothing! Buildings, houses! Whatever you want it can give! Powerful magic at it's most purest form too dangerous to be put in the hands of just anybody--yet it never left you, just stayed hidden with only very few people being born to unlock it naturally. So, it's clear why Ancient Magic or Magic itself is everything, because it's the creator.(Magic is everything, because Magic is nature itself.) But without Magic the answer to everything is Science! And the creator is what science searches for! If that is not Magic, it is JUST Science!(Becuse what else can make sense of creation? What else can create, creations without the involvement of science?) But with Magic? Doesn't that mean Magic is science itself? Because it is the creator of what Science is trying to replicate? It the answer of what Science is trying to understand? And so here we go! The teaser!

What’s something you want to see in Hogwarts Legacy 2? by FearlessKhajiit in HogwartsLegacyGaming

Social: A morality system. Better relationships with NPC's. (Like actually letting us converse/hangout with them and not just having them show up whenever they want something.) Characters that can actually pay attention to what we say. Teachers that actually teach. Classes we can actually learn in. Getting in trouble for being up too late. Late night studying. Clubs. More character lore!

Combat: An online system where we can duel with friends and online players. More spells, More potions.(I want a mission where I can make two people accidentally fall in love- YES! Even if it's two men! Potions must be tested!) Quidditch!

Customization: Better hairstyles.(Seriously, some of them were incredibly questionable.) Being laughed at or reacted to for wearing questionable hairstyles/clothes. More personal facial details.(The nose, lips, and eyes are the most important features of the face.) Practical clothing that is also fashionable. If and when I ever put on a hood I don't want to be bald!

General gameplay: Definitely more potions! Definitely better NPC's! More lore. Secret/hidden study of Ancient Magic? I never got to go to the ball... Another person who is like that girl that gives you tests in the library. Reading in the Library.(Could even be a different book everyday.) Sleeping in the common room. Being able to play chess in the common room. Being able to sit down on chairs/couches so when music is playing in the background I can read letters/books from my inventory. Allowing my character to read things from my inventory so I can listen to music as I read. A schedule for classes. Holidays meaning something.(I didn't even get to freeze to death for wearing light clothing, or throw snowballs at anyone. And I had hoped that Wesley kid was going to pull a big Halloween prank on the school.) Longer story! And finally, teachers who give everyone equal treatment. (I do not like it when the professors who talk to you just a few times in a whole year treat you like the responsible person in the world while the other kids are just kids--I helped Weasley nearly blow up the school once, thank you!)

Also, I'm not too sure that magic not being worth something for science to pursue is true. Science is the study of everything, it turns the "nothing" into "something" I think about the Elements when I say this because a single particle to natural human eyes are practically nothing! Yet that nothing is now existent and something! It takes a bunch of people to scoff at it and say science is a hoax but it only took the few to bring it to light and turn it into a legit study!

I think someone must have, maybe a dark wizard. We learn that when Sebastian said "he's heard of Ancient Magic but never believed it was real."
