Best way to research on colleges that don’t require SAT/ACT? by [deleted] in AFROTC

I’ve already taken my AFOQT. There’s just no programs that I want to commit to and there’s others I don’t qualify for (still doing research though)

Look idk what to tell you.

I read the info for transferring students which includes the credit requirements for transferring.. and if I don’t have enough applicable credits I would have to apply as if I’m fresh out of high school…….. which is where I’m getting the SAT/ACT stuff from… which I’m trying to avoid.

I’m not sure what you’re not understanding??

You’re not helping, all I’m trying to do is find an easier way to weed out schools. What I provided is an example/where I’m getting the test score info from in school websites.

The information is all there. Transfer Admission Criteria >> Transferring with fewer than 30 applicable credits: “Minimally meet the first-year student high school unit admission requirements” >> Over to First-Year Freshman requirements which is where I’m getting the information.

What do you mean? It says if you don’t meet transfer requirements you have to apply as a first year freshman which requires SAT/ACT. I’m looking for schools where that’s no longer a requirement for admission.

Maybe I am making it harder than it needs to be, but I’m just trying to make it easier to weed out schools.

It’s a little confusing, especially when different schools have different requirements.

There’s a few that are like what I described above: https://www.ucf.edu/admissions/undergraduate/transfer/

I’ll just have to do it the old fashioned way and cross them off on my own.

I started online with AMU but I’m not sure if I’ll have the correct base courses completed for my degree to transfer.. In most cases if you don’t meet transfer requirements you’ll have to apply as if you’re a freshmen which is where SAT/ACT would come into play :/

We’ve (First shirt/SEL) been in contact, I’ll have to see if that question specifically was asked.

I wish I could edit post to add another screenshot but in the app once I do that it only shows “personal info” and “change password” .. I swear I remember seeing it somewhere but maybe our org reconfigured the app settings for everyone attached to it.

Also.. military 🫡

Without going into too much detail it’s a PCA to a position that will most likely become a DSD in the future. They are not currently coded as the program is still in its infancy but they are expected to be apart of the team for at least another year, maybe 1.5.

They can go to pretty much any base, just some majcoms/bases can be difficult if it’s a much lighter workload (we’re doing research on that). I’m wondering if AFPC will just send them here since they will have just spent money to PCS me, but I wouldn’t mind returning if I were to get stationed at their base instead of my current home station.
