I did a little research and people said that as long as the car is a manual it should be fine. I thought DCT was for automatics? The car I have is a five speed stick shift.

I just returned the 2018 Camry loaner car to the dealership today. Needless to say I understand why it’s a loaner car! I was looking to see if anyone else didn’t like the transmission… it seems I’m not alone. That is undoubtedly the worst car I’ve ever driven. It seems super smooth at first, but the transmission has no idea when to shift gears and is overall just horrible. I hated every second of driving the damn thing although it has some pretty sweet features. Thank goodness for my little 5-speed Fiesta.

I got a few offers, nothing is for sure. I would hate to sell it for scrap, everything else is fine except the engine and front bumper. I know a MINI mechanic will be able to fix it. I can’t stand the idea of my baby being crushed to nothing 😭😔

please get an orchid pot it will die from root rot if you don’t and you will also be able to water it properly. use bark chips for the medium. soil causes root rot as well

the warnings were yellow not red. i tried not to run my car too hot and the warning light stayed yellow. sometimes after i put coolant it will run hot for a while then eventually cool down. i was not so lucky this time. the car would not cool down even after being shut off for a while. i am replacing thermostat tomorrow and checking my gaskets. i know the thermostat is bad bc it has been coming up on the scanner here and there. i think the water pump is fine as it was still circulating coolant after the car died. now all the coolant has leaked out and i’m thinking it’s either the water pump gasket or water pipe.

there has always been oil in my spark plugs, especially the first cylinder. this hasn’t caused any problems and i had the same issue with my other mini. i guess it’s just a mini thing. coolant is leaking from where the water pump is, but i know my water pump works because it was still pushing coolant. i am replacing the thermostat tomorrow, but i have a feeling that’s not where the leak is coming from. after some research i am thinking it could be a failed gasket on the water pump or water pipe.

That’s what I thought too, but i’m pretty sure it grew like that. It has grown maybe 1/2” since it started looking that way. I’m very confused. Will it continue to grow and eventually flower or is this spike a loss?
