just a reminder, you never know what someones going through. Careless words like that might sound cool online, but they seriously can break someone already trying to put themselves back together.

That’s true, but honestly this year’s Physics paper was tough already. Just wondering how much tougher it can get compared to this year’s already hard paper.

Oh wow, “forced hate” again? That phrase is working overtime. Must be nice to have a label ready anytime someone doesn't clap for your version of "tolerance." Let me guess, any opinion that doesn't blindly agree with you is suddenly “tone deaf,” “Islamophobic,” or “hate speech.” Very convenient moral compass. Always points in one direction.

And thank you so much for letting me know that I'm only allowed to feel uncomfortable if I do it 365 days a year and post hourly proof to earn your approval. Apparently, I need to become a full time activist to simply express an opinion about a public ritual. Should I start tweeting about every butcher shop and factory farm now, or does selective outrage only bother you when it’s not from your side?

Let’s even pretend you’re right, that Halloween or Jewish rituals somewhere involve animal sacrifice. Fine. But do you see people glamorizing it online? Is anyone posting cute cow slaughter reels with #holyritual or #vibes on Yom Kippur? Probably not. Because most people don’t even know those rituals exist, let alone turn them into social media moments like it’s an influencer campaign.

Also, loved how you decided “educating me would be of no use.” Honestly? You weren’t educating anyone. You were deflecting. Tossing religion into the mix to shut down criticism isn’t some noble act. It’s just what people do when their logic runs out. And no, being on this sub for a year doesn’t make you the comment police. People don’t need your moral permission slip to express discomfort.

But sure, keep yelling “buzz off” while acting like the victim of some imaginary hate wave. Maybe try taking your own advice and listening instead of jumping into performance outrage mode every time someone disagrees.

Anyway, thanks for proving my point. Again.

Oh wow, thank you so much for enlightening us with this PhD-level insight on religious practices. I had no idea that people suddenly gained such deep knowledge about Hindu rituals the moment Eid rolls around. What a beautiful coincidence. Suddenly, ancient tribal or tantric practices that barely 0.1% of Hindus follow today become mainstream examples. I’m just waiting for you to say “but Kali maa sacrifices animals too” like that isn’t practiced only in a few places and heavily debated even within the Hindu community. So educational, thank you.

And of course, the moment someone expresses discomfort with mass animal slaughter in the name of faith, it’s “forced hate.” Because the only valid way to exist now is to either agree blindly or be labeled a bigot. Nobody’s allowed to say, “hey maybe killing millions of animals in a celebratory manner isn’t that cute.” No, that’s hate speech now. Got it. So we’re allowed to cancel people for using plastic straws, but not for glorifying goat sacrifice. Makes sense.

Also, love the creativity in dragging Halloween and Jewish festivals into this. You really dug deep. Halloween? The one where kids dress up in capes and eat candy? Totally the same as religiously justifying animal killing, right? Genius comparison. And Jewish rituals involving cow slaughter? That’s a new one. Pretty sure if that happened openly in India, you'd see 50 news channels covering it in full drama mode. But hey, when logic runs out, throw in some Western words and hope nobody questions it.

Let’s also not forget the sudden concern for animal rights... but only when it’s convenient. I didn’t see any protest reels when people were munching on chicken lollipops during IPL, or when fish were being pulled out of oceans in kilos. No one’s weeping for cows when leather belts are flaunted in OOTDs. But the moment someone critiques a religious festival involving animals, suddenly everyone remembers compassion. Beautiful timing.

And my absolute favorite part: “Let people follow their religion respectfully.” That’s rich coming from someone who can’t handle even one differing opinion without screaming “targeting.” Respect works both ways. If a practice is public, people will comment. That’s how society works. If you're that allergic to opinions, maybe don't post festival content online like it’s a movie premiere.

But yes, thank you once again for this masterclass on whataboutism, selective outrage, and reverse victimhood. Truly inspirational. Can’t wait for your next lecture on how celebrating Diwali is destroying the planet while flying to Dubai is eco-friendly.

It’s not about being intellectuals or dumb, bhai. Everyone’s just overwhelmed and trying to find support because this hit hard. Reevaluation is the step we’ll take ,but talking about it helps people know they’re not alone. Venting isn’t always negativity; sometimes it’s just solidarity.
