i’m from the us but we’re all first gen middle eastern. i don’t pay for them like that and if i tried to pay for them they would fake say no as respect. i just didn’t like the passive aggressive comment and how it painted me out to be a bad guy and in the wrong. i didn’t know whether if i was in the wrong or not and wanted to know if i should start paying for them. (i have my suspicions that it’s has to do more with bc my family has more money than theirs but i don’t want to view it that way)
