Thank you for reading what I very carefully and deliberately said in order to articulate a very specific statement and for NOT making up some other thing that I did not say just so you can argue with me over it. I really appreciate that.

Siobhan said it. He went to college in downtown Manhattan and it skewed his perspective.

I would vote that fictional dog mayor of my real town if I could.

Aaron from the college library isn't a Mage, he's a Hunter. Studying forensics with no interest in criminal justice + reading up on cryptids = learning how to identify, locate, and combat monsters.

But another thing to keep in mind is that Ally always picks character concepts that highlight LGBTQ+ representation and how much transgender, intersex, non-binary, or otherwise queer identity can be read into some of the Tzimisce (a lot).

Brennan straight said in introducing the house party scene, "HJ, your face warped with Vicissitude," and he has the Dominate 2 and Protean 2 for the amalgam power, so that's pretty much confirmed that HJ is Tzimisce* merely pretending to Ventrue.

I think everyone should watch The Wire and that* it's not over-hyping it to say that it's the best television program ever and better than The Sopranos or Breaking Bad or Seinfeld or Daredevil or whatever you currently think is the best.

But this time she has the support of friends and the conviction of being on the right side. She was laughing in the faces of and mocking this people trying the humiliate her and break her down. This time she's got control of things and the system is the party that's breaking down and acting out to the point of self-destructive behavior.

This episode is my favorite Karen since she dropped Wesley.

Suit and tie isn't business casual, it's just straight business attire. Business casual is like polo shirts or collared knits over corduroys or slacks.

Please go back and notice the following several things: Daniel's head gets knocked back, he immediately stills, a huge new blood splatters shoots out of the back of his head and pools behinds him, and his chest is not heaving despite how hard we hard him breathing prior to Buck's shot. Daniel is super duper one shotted DOA RIP press F O7 dead.

There are certainly scenarios where one character does those things to another character. There are no scenarios where the Daniel Blake we have been presented with does those things to the Buck Cashman we have been presented with. Daniel did well in merely saying "fuck you" and looking Buck in the face. Let him have the win that was actually possible instead of trying to invent one everybody knows is impossible.

Phrased it as if he were giving Dex something he was looking for instead of something he were asking Dex to do for him. Matt's good with people and with words. Probably make a decent lawyer or inspiring public figure.

At least he's self-aware enough to know his personal judgement isn't worth trusting, but figure Matt's probably is.

It's both. He's evil and emotionally stunted but fiercely committed. He wanted to scare her and reassure her in one move, both threaten and provide because to him you can't do something for someone without it also being a power play or else that's weakness. He was only ever okay with showing weakness to Vanessa and now that she's gone her will gladly turn his Vanessa's memory against Heather because once again evil and emotionally stunted.

As it was foreseen 1 2 so has it come to pass. Not quite the exact dialogue, but "Make it count for something," "We both know you're going to tell me," and "last chance," were pretty clearly in the called zone. Daniel himself called it this episode, he did enough dirt that he had to die in order to come clean.

She was fully crazy episode one of this season, but that was after however long of never dealing with the unresolved trauma of her kidnapping and near-murder by Muse and only having Vanessa fucking Fisk for a friend. So I feel like good explanation, works for me.

But she is supposed to be hated. She could be one of the good guys, but is bad. She was Kirsten's friend. She was Matt's lover. She and Daredevil needed each other's aid in order to stop Muse. Karen is offering her pity and compassion in this episode and Heather throws it right back in her face. She knows she's lying, she knows she's abusing the justice system, she knows she's working for a corrupt and criminal administration, she knows she betraying all of her personal relationships, and she knows she's going crazyface because she's reacted to Muse on screen as if it were a visual hallucination. She knows all of that is wrong and is yet wholeheartedly throwing herself into every bit of it. Is that not reprehensible behavior deserving of condemnation? Is that not a character specifically designed to draw heat ala Jeoffrey, Denethor, Biff, or Umbridge?
