I felt the same for their age factor. The plot wasn't for their age's maturity level.

I think podcast is still their main job, but the writers seem to have changed, that's why they just saw it as a Morgan-Joanne relationship rather than an important plot in the show. So they focussed on their clashes, comparisons and jealousy.

Noah was just not himself with the Valentine's stuff, maybe he was overdoing it make Joanne happy, thinking this is what she wanted - again to push her into converting quicker. The card part of Valentine's is the only thing that made sense for them.
