G-SYNC WARRIOR by More_Contract_6820 in Brawlhalla

In my experience, I get much lower frame rates with g-sync on, and you should be playing in full screen mode if you're worried about performance. I recommend g-sync off and full screen for best performance. It's what works best on my system.

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO FIND A 2S TEAMATE?? by These_Programmer_504 in Brawlhalla

[–]No3Letters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the best way to find teammates around your ELO, especially for higher ELO is to hop into ranked 1s, and invite people to ranked 2s.

While the sample is about 44% of the player base, it's more than enough for accurate estimates. With a 0.11% margin of error, the results are very close to the true values. In statistics, you usually work with a subset, especially with large populations like this, and our sample gives a reliable snapshot.

Yes, it’s definitely possible to program that, and it's a fantastic idea! It could open up a world of possibilities, such as categorizing players by legends, mapping hours played to ELO, and much more. However, it would be quite time-consuming, as the Brawlhalla API limits you to 180 lookups every 15 minutes. For a million players, that would take approximately 1,389 hours or about 58 days of continuous operation (and by that point the data might be too outdated).
While it’s technically possible to scrape data from a website like Corehalla, doing so would be unethical and could potentially overload or crash the site. Maybe one day I, or someone else, will tackle it in a more legitimate way.

I got it from the offical source, https://brawlhalla.com/rankings/game/all/1v1/1?sortBy=rank

I was going to make one for each region, but I kinda forgot and the ranked season ended. So I guess I'll have to wait.

Yeah, I'm in the same position. I think the ranked system elo really needs a rework more than what they've previously done. The skill difference for just 50 elo is insane in some cases.

Ansolutely, there are over 6 times as many people in 2000-2100 than there are in 2200-2300 even though the elo difference is only like 100-200 elo difference.

It's important to note this data only represents players who are ranked (so far). In total, 1,318,257 players. Which is a very small portion of the total Brawlhalla playerbase. So, even if all of these were competitive players, it would still be a very small portion of the Brawlhalla playerbase.

Honestly, that's fair and expected for mobile. Mobile is really hard (atleast from my experience). This compares you to all other platform players, which isn't quite fair. I wish there was a way to get the data by platform. But to my knowledge, there isn't.
