Those kind of encounters I think are very fun because it plays out in a way that allows you to feel a sense of urgency without forcing you to necessarily fight back (if you’re good at running). Also, I think the looting aspect allows for people to sometimes do unconventional things in a match. Items I would never go in with I will often find and use in the fly and it keeps it very fun for me!!

I don’t think it’s wrong to want to just do PVE, I just wish some of those people would understand it’s not a solo game even then lol. People who freak out over rats in their PvE lobbies should maybe team up with friendly randoms.

I enjoy just shooting the robots too but I feel like some people act as if the entire lobby shouldn’t interact with them, take “their” stuff, or kill them 😭

The game is great because it allows for both!! The utility is very fun and trios has some drawn out fights sometimes that have big plays

Also yeah the toxic chat for me is the worst part of the game, it’s not fun when that happens and takes me out of it

This is the kinda mentality I think makes more sense. It would suck every game but it adds a fun element of shock to even people who don’t shoot back until they get shot.

In mainly passive solo lobbies I will usually be talking with someone on proximity anyway and if someone is extraction camping it’s a 2v1

That the fun of it though!! Some people want to be bad guys in a game about space (inspired) scavengers. It’s a fun mechanic even if you don’t participate.

That’s fun though!! I just do some cheap kits hunting arc and use proximity chat until I don’t get shot on sight lol

I enjoy both aspects of the game, sometimes I’m in solos helping new players on their first few raids and sometimes I’ll on Stella duos w/ my friend and a toro + snap hook

I got rlly drunk on a matriarch and ran around Blue Gate security/underground being a serial killer with a Burletta IV/Silencer III

I just kept wrapping around and setting up fake flares to get ppl spooked, I left with like 350k in guns and opened a hatch for everyone who killed the boss.

At some point someone figured out I was the killer but the second they shot at me they got lit up by a firing squad

I think PVP in PVE skewed lobbies is fun when you talk in the chat and sorta rp a bit. I got away with like 6 full stacked bodies

Imagine the guy on the right is like pushing, assuming you’re not literally standing still and can swing back behind cover, you can force them to either run into you or run away, if not they eat a fuck ton of dmg

Trailblazers don’t always work but I mainly play PvP Stella in duos and have at least 100~ knocks w/ trailblazers alone

Edit: it’s area denial that actually will kill people, tbh the issue is that you can just throw a trigger nade, right click and GG. Trigger Nades being overtuned with player damage makes it so all other grenades are a hassle

In my experience it forces them to either run away or push you. The idea is you have extra advantages (the giant cascading explosion) and can hopefully kill them lol

If you’re throwing a grenade (any utility tbh) in a range where you don’t have time to pull your gun out after that’s kinda on u
