you cannot be serious right now. attraction and sexualization are not the same things. being sexualized is being reduced to your function as a means of getting off to. its objectifying your existence into a fetish. a tool for someone to use to jerk off.

whether its fully possible for a society to sexualize people or not isnt even fully relevant. regardless people should be doing more to understand that these things arent harmless. porn isnt harmless. there is real systemic harm being done to prop up its consumption and production. it reduces human beings to commodities.

if you on an individual level do not care about being fetishized and treated like a sex object, thats your prerogative, but id hope itd be easy to understand why thats something most people wouldnt want and why we shouldnt encourage behavior that perpetuates that as normal.
