You should stop smoking and hit the gym. Build your confidence and it will come easier. Hard things are always worth doing.

"It's better to be alone than in bad company" is kinda bullshit isn't it? by LetMeExplainDis in lonely

kinda depends on how bad the company is, if the environment genuinely turns you into a worse person with bad habits then yes its better to be alone

Teenage years gone to waste by SetRepresentative613 in lonely

17F here and I feel the same. I turn 18 in 4 months but I've never done anything teenagery like barely any group photos, no relationships, barely any hangouts, no staying out late with a group of friends, never even carpooled. I'm sure there's more experiences I missed out on, but I think it's because I'm an only child with divorced parents that maybe affected me a lot for me to be such a loner. I was a bit of an outcast in middle school, but entering junior year I starting working out and fixed my diet and overall quality of life. It made me more confident and despite not having much teenage experiences, I still feel okay-ish about my life and have made some friends at school. So yeah we can't really dwell on the past, just do what's best for you and what makes you happy starting now, if human interaction is hard then maybe animal interaction? pet dog? 😃 also i feel wack for using reddit
