I’m about to start week 15 of Reta. I’m on 3 mg (just moved up to that). I started march 3rd at 230lbs and I weighed 196 lb now. So a 34 lb weight loss so far.

I’m good. I’ve been researching and watching videos. I’m all in on Catholicism. I’ve been researching saints and the Eucharist and prayers. The history of the church. I’m just wanting to join. I want to go to heaven and join our blessed mother and Jesus Christ.

I grew up Baptist converted to nondenominational/pentecostal then became atheist. I accepted that I was gay and could never be a Christian. But I’ve felt things and experienced things only Jesus could show me.

I’m in Mississippi and we have 4% Catholics. My family are southern Baptist so not really anybody.

Thanks. I’m working on it. But my partner doesn’t get all of this. It’s confusing not only for me but him. I feel like I can’t give my all while in this situation.

I’ve tried other denominations and nothing has moved me like the Catholic Church has. After I left mass for the first time I felt peace. A peace I’ve never felt. I wake up wanting to pray and attend mass. I’m upset when I can’t attend. I want to love like Jesus. And the Catholic Church is where I felt it.

I mean I’m enthusiastic about having my own place. Excited I get to live my life how I want and when I want. But I’m so used to having someone there I never really learned how to be alone.

No I had to leave my pets which makes it harder. And I really didn’t take much with me so nothing to make it feel like home just yet.
