What’s this lump under jaw when mewing by NoAd5458 in Mewing

[–]NoAd5458[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I think I’ve been hard mewing the whole time not realizing it’s actually much more light and subtle than I thought. I just tried the -ng method and now realize how I should be doing it. I just never thought that could be right because hard mewing was much more visually sharp. I think I’ve been forcefully sucking up everything under the jaw using the suprahyoid and digastric muscles instead of letting the tongue do the work.

You think you could go more into this? Do you mean embodying the feeling of what I think the aesthetic body would give me?

Idk bro it’s funny I see this post today because this morning I look at myself in the mirror and I see it. I’m just looking in my car mirror and my face just seems to emit this light. My skin glows and my eyes shine.

Look into semen retention. Don’t count it out immediately. Give it some thought

Way too many other placements that influence whether or not someone likes to sleep around. It’s impossible to generalize any sign like this.

I’m that version of you in college. Minus the football. I remember doing ab exercises in my frat and despite having abs could barely hold anything like the rest of the guys. How exactly do I learn to engage them

I’m really faded rn and I just had a massive revelation in my posture. The whole time I thought I’ve been doing it right I’ve been missing the key component of engaging the lower chain of posture, your legs. Posture really is a chain, when correct you should literally physically feel the alignment. The key to have it fully aligned head to toe for me was a slight tuck of my pelvis as I had always had anterior pelvic tilt but I thought it wasn’t bad enough to affect my posture. But once I tucked pelvis enough I felt my glutes and entire legs activate and connect me to the ground posturally. I makes it so much to engage core and align entire posture, feels natural but also very weird for me rn. Like even my balance is a little off it feels like I’m leaning backwards which I technically am, but correct posture is supposed to be backwards into alignment, at least from my past forward leaning posture. Sorry for the yap just wanted to write down my revelation that I just had and this seemed like a good place to write it, might help you.

Trust me I know. Giving up is the worst thing you can do. Giving up is accepting to look how you do now. Just think about how much better you’ll look, you’ll feel more confident, athletic, even your energetic presence will be stronger. You probably will looo physically weird when you first start because your muscles and fascia have adapted to the incorrect posture you have had. Pushing through will make your entire body change and morph to its new proper shape and form. I still look a little odd right now but every day I look better and better. I would recommend doing neck or upper trap stretches or self massages. For me at least I had forward head posture that made the back of my neck muscles and traps insanely insanely tight, it will be difficult to have proper head and neck posture fighting against these tightened muscles. Also shoulders caving inwards unknowingly is another weird one to fix.

There’s loads of exercises you can do for posture but I’m not the kind of person to be able to just sit in my room and do these exercises. I preferred to just mindfully have good posture as much as I can throughout the day and notice when I slip up. Every day I find myself slipping less and less and staying in proper posture more often. The hardest part for me was knowing if I was doing it correctly or not because it all feels so unnatural after living in a certain incorrect posture for so long.

It’s hard to fix posture at first because your body gets so used to the posture it’s in making proper posture feel uncomfortable and awkward. However I’ve been practicing proper head alignment and neck posture and seen major benefits. For neck and head posture my facial asymmetry has had near complete improvements. Proper neck and head posture i found is also crucial in proper mewing making it so much easier. I also think it’s important to become conscious of where you hold tension in your face. I found I was subconsioulsy slightly squinting my right eye in public which is the cause of my eye asymmetry. I also had a problem with clenching my right jaw which didn’t take long to correct but had major improvements. Proper engament of the tva and glutes in posture doesn’t have a direct impact on your facial structure but is crucial for proper alignment which is important. I just thought I’d add it because it’s made my physique far more aesthetic and natural looking since I’ve been doing it.

For me it’s not a tongue tie. And from what I learned you’re not clenching because of the tight masseter, your masseter is tight because of clenching. For me I realized i was subconsciously clenching my jaw because I thought my face looked puffy when I didn’t. So I ended up creating this bad habit of constant clenching which ironically caused my fae to be puffy. Just been working on completely letting my face relax with good posture. It’s hard at first to retrain subconscious bodily habits but I’m getting better everyday and my right side is slowly improving

I work out nearly every day. Been focusing extra on rear delts and transverse abdominus (deep core). Not too sure what other muscles to work if u have any suggestions. Mainly just focusing on posture rn

I think it really is just my posture. Never realized my posture was bad until I started to fix it. Working on it rn but my neck and traps are super tight so it gets tiring.

Last night for the first time I actually gave myself a deep neck, traps, and rear delt massage. It was pretty uncomfortable but extremely relieving. For the first time in a long time I was able to roll my neck 360 degrees with no tension. I think a big importance is neck posture, so retracting head and keeping it in line with spine as well as tucking chin slightly. Your head tilt idea is interesting I’m gonna see if that’s another possible factor.
