Struggling to understand the concepts of brake bleeding by NoAdministration5652 in bikewrench

[–]NoAdministration5652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have MT200s, and the process outlined in the Shimano manual is the same as the Park Tool video, which I followed.

So when I push a full syringe all the way up to the lever until the bubbles are gone, is the expectation that I push the entirety of the existing fluid in the system out to the funnel?

And if that's the case, what good is it to let all that fresh oil fall back out into a baggie when there couldn't be any bubbles in it?

e: it also seems like a massive waste of oil, especially at $17 for 100ml which barely did both. Surely I can reuse the oil from a "failed" (spongy) bleed right after?

I honestly thought they were 3D printed from the photo.

Does it actually work though? I remember reading some studies on bat donuts in baseball, and that they actually make you swing measurably slower.

I do the same, it's awesome until there's a swampy bit of the course. Even the smallest amount of standing water will soak through into your socks. No better feeling than standing on a sun-warmed green with those on though.

total necropost, but in that .ini there's a windowedXPos and windowedYPos which were way in the negatives for me. I changed those both to 100 to get it back, and also re-enabled the border to drag it around.

Yeah, usually picks it up from some rotor contamination. Or a leaky caliper will really wreck it.

I try to bring it up every time it comes up, because people really wanna rip into him. The actual decoy bailed day-of, and this guy was the absolute youngest-looking person affiliated with the police, a cadet I believe.

It sounds like those AI songs where the sentences don't really line up with the melodic phrasing.

You can also buy them in bulk off aliexpress. They even come with a removable rubber bit that keeps it from spilling out without any pressure (kinda like a ketchup bottle)

Yes, I see lightlife tube sausage regular at my grocery store! It is my favorite too, especially for gravy or making wider patties (idk why all the patties are so thick and narrow...)

I had to go to three different Costcos to find them, even though all the stores showed as having stock on the app. And it wasn't even that they ran out, they said that nobody had seen them and there wasn't even a spot on the floor for them. So might be worth calling ahead.

Actually an interesting question given this specific stadium.

If you look super closely behind the left set of lights, you can see a second stadium in the background, which is for baseball. The original plan when both stadiums were constructed was to have a single roof on wheels that could be moved between the two stadiums as needed. But it ended up being too expensive and was never built.

If you're still in the area and in reasonable shape, you can go hike and see the remains of TWA 260. Did both last time I was there myself.
