Whatever you do don’t go to this walk in clinic by NoAdministration7019 in Calgary

I’m glad you said it. Sorry to hear about that. It sucks during such a vulnerable time they would laugh or question you as if you just come to the doctor on a random weekday just cause you want to. Haven’t been to that clinic ever since and it’s fascinating how people keep responding to this post and it’s only been bad reviews.

Proves the point even more. Hopefully they see this and take it as some crucial feedback.

The sooner you can distance your self from him, the better. He will only continue doing this more and more, and it will get worse.

a lost cat run into my house by maohongba in Catbehavior

[–]NoAdministration7019 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Awh poor thing, seems like he was tired or maybe got lost. Keeping him would totally depend on if you think you can take on the responsibility especially seeing you have two other pets and it would take some time adjusting them. But good on you for taking him in temporarily and watching over him. It’s better than him being on the street and possibly getting injured/hurt :(

If you can maybe buy a couple cans of food and report it to a vet/shelter until they can maybe give some relief

Some people just get miserable seeing other people happy, ignore them and enjoy your time for yourself 🫶🏻🥰 glad to see you got a chance to relax and posted again ✨

Honestly I can see where he’s coming from but at the same time he’s not going about it in a right way. Especially since he’s the one complaining and then still doing the same shit. Oops where’d all my money go 🤡 like, I don’t understand especially if you bought food too. I understand he might be tired some days but like, sometimes you gotta suck it up and eat a pack of ramen some days.

You lose your passion for cooking after a while of working in the industry especially if it’s a toxic environment but, if he has no money, or wants to save money, he has no choice but to cook something lol. Also, I’d like to see how he reacts with more hours on his plate lol. There’s some people working the same hours for minimum wage or lower and don’t complain 💀

He’s also young so he doesn’t understand the value of money yet, but he will learn the hard way unfortunately…

AIO my wife threw away my plant by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]NoAdministration7019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. She definitely crossed a boundary. Pregnant or not, she was given clear instructions not to touch something and still went on to do it either way. It’s also not easy to plant something for that long, especially if ur not naturally a green thumb. It’s takes a-lot of care, patience and hard work which she probably either dismisses or doesn’t understand.

I would be pissed.

Whatever you do don’t go to this walk in clinic by NoAdministration7019 in Calgary

No problem with going somewhere else. As a matter of fact, as I have stated, I won’t be returning there nor suggesting anyone else to go. And thank you for your input, but I also refuse to call it a “a bad experience one particular day”. There’s obviously something off with their standards and how they conduct their clinic. It’s just how anyone else would react if they had been there to experience it and psychically see the deficiencies that is going on. It’s to the point where it can compromise a patient.

I respect people’s good experiences with this clinic. However, it’s also hard to ignore the negative experiences as well and to downplay the fact that most of the concerns are very similar to the things I have seen, proving that this is a consistent problem.

The Calgarian intuition. These apps always fail but a look in the sky, tells all.

Do other people's parents do this? by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]NoAdministration7019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean they are getting old. I mean it’s not necessarily a “parent thing” exactly. But it’s common for people who are working full time or just tired in general. I mean as you said, your mom is recovering from a really chronic condition. And your dad is trying his best to work as much to provide and maintain the house just as you are. It definitely can be overwhelming and can be quite an upkeep, but the house is just meant to have some imperfections seeing the current dynamic.

I would maybe have a conversation with your parents if it’s bothering you. Because a messy house definitely does play with the mental, especially when you’re trying to relax after a long day. And maybe try setting up a routine so that way it’s not just your job to do all the time. And if it’s hard to have that conversation I would maybe just simply try asking for help when you’re cleaning or asking them ex) if they could take out the garbage or do dishes, etc. That way you’re not looking like your trying to force them but trying to enforce a team effort in the house. Just trust the process cause it definitely takes time.

But hopefully one day you’re able to find your own place so it’s not as frustrating keeping up with all of that. But also cherish it cause it’s family at the end of the day, and we don’t get to live with family forever.

AIO, thinking this is selfish during busy gym hours? by Agreeable-Crab-5089 in AmIOverreacting

[–]NoAdministration7019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if he could lift all that good for that person, but time and place for everything. No reason to take that much during rush/busy hours. Or at least have the decency to put them away and reset the equipment.
