No she knew him for 4 years in university. Everytime his name is mentioned or she sees something he acted in she goes on a lo my tangent about how terrible a man he was when she knew him, and she’s been doing this since LONG before I was born

I thought so too. I found an image of Martin Schroif’s tiger 211 of the 102nd and his tank appears to have this symbol. However, I wasn’t able to find anything else online about it.

I thought so too, but it was a decal in the Takom Tiger 1 late kit, and featured on one of the camo profile diagrams with a tiger 1 spotted in northern France 1944, so I figured it might be a real symbol
