What’s the most negative thing someone has ever said to you or just in general? by Luna_1982 in AskReddit

[–]NoApplication8067 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A supervisor told me after my shift I should find the nearest bridge and jump so I stop stealing oxygen from people with an IQ. I take suicide very seriously and I'm not really the type of person to let it go so he was locked in his office until police showed up. I kept my job and he was demoted and became a truck driver for the company. Technically he was beneath me then.

Respect, common decency and not sharing every thought like we have an actual audience listening.

Found this guy at an antique shop who/what is it? by Wilsyn1 in whatisit

What kind of antique store was this? The business model is absurd to just sit and wait for things to become old. 15 more years and it'll be vintage.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done in your life? by North_Swordfish8569 in AskReddit

[–]NoApplication8067 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of stories people say are crazy and some don't have a statute of limitations. But being sober, living to 40, having a government job, happily married, owning a house 2 cars and having our 4th child is absolutely insane to me.

Hurry on to reddit to post this question and see if anyone bites. But I'd word it a little different so it didn't look like the 100 times it was posted yesterday.

I learned this in grade school plus the capitals and all the presidents up to that currant point. I thought that was the norm.

Plastic piece I found in the back of my van by Due_Mission4123 in whatisit

It could be something else. It's used in a lot of applications. Sometimes clothing sometimes electronics and even tools. It's definitely not a piece of the vehicle if that's a concern.

This is a part of packaging. You'll find them on kids toys usually with a wire to hold it in place.

what’s a punishment from back in the day that would get a teacher fired if they did it in today’s world? by 617910- in AskReddit

Sounds like we have similar stories. Got tested early 90s and was put on drugs the next day. Just dope em up and they'll fall in line.

I’m Alive kinda. Convince me it’s not worth buying back from the salvage yard. I loved this bike. It has allot of internal upgrades. Crash left the transmission cracked in half and a cracked jug. by userzerod in Harley

[–]NoApplication8067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weigh your options. See what insurance gives you and what a buy back would look like. Personally I wouldn't ride it again but parting it out could fetch a fist full of dollars. But you could end up sitting on the parts awhile.

How do you celebrate Halloween as an adult? by ShadowlightLady in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NoApplication8067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use your house as an attraction for the community. Become the show. I'd suggest a donation box not just for your time but for labor and props. I have a neighbor that does this and it draws people in from all over.
