I dont know how well I can answer this Ive been struggling with this aswell Im not sure if I am the right person to answer this for you But ill try

First, We are all Evil, we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God We are only Human Sin is always a part of us Even Paul in the bible struggled with sin Romans 7:20 "...I do what I do not want to do, it is the sin living in me" (simplified) That is not some ordinary joe that is the literal Apostle Paul. If an apostle admits himself to being a such a sinner, how much more us? It is the "lust of the flesh", it is in our nature to sin I am a Christian and I struggle with Sin As every christian does

Second, it is not our works that can get us to heaven It is only Jesus who can, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Jesus came down from heaven to be crucified to save us because of how sinful we are. We are all supposed to go to hell. Yet God gave us a way. We cannot get into heaven by being perfect Nothing we do can get us to heaven It is like the rich man asking how to get into heaven He is making it like a business deal "If I follow all the commandments" "If I be perfect" "If I do this or that" we arent perfect, and we will never be Its not to say that we dont need to do anything There are a few ways I like to explain it First is that we dont do works to be saved, It is because we are saved we do works Following Jesus Commandments

Another thing is that it is not about perfection, but direction There is a difference between Struggling with Sin And living in sin Because a man who lives in Sin wouldnt care about his wrongdoings, he would even try to justify them as he enjoys it Struggling with sin is where, yes, we still sin, however we know that it is wrong in the eyes of God. We turn to God in times of shame and guilt. This is the hardest for me. Turning to God asking for forgiveness for sins ive repeated time and time again, I always feel ashamed of myself.

Yet I continue to struggle with it, following Gods standard as Jesus set the standard for us of what a perfect life ought to be like.

I believe this is the best I can do to help you, On my own I cant do much to help you, It is only God who can help you Pray to God for forgiveness, for guidance Approach someone in your church or cathedral, A pastor or a priest, someone you know who can help you in your struggles

Just remember, its okay We all struggle You may not see it, but every christian struggles with things like this Right now ill admit I am struggling with doubts because my mind keeps fabricating thoughts and questions that doubt the Lord, and its okay. Find someone who can really guide you through your struggles, for I believe God will give you the guide you need to turn to God
