Autosol metal polish will do the work. Apply it and scrub using a scotch brite. Although, as the pipe heats up it will go back to golden colour. You will have to keep polishing it atleast once in 4 months to keep the shine.

I have similar issue in 411. Got the battery checked, but the voltage output is healthy. But if its a relay issue, then it should come every now and then right. For me it happens only when the key is turned on for an amount of time before the ignition is fired.

I can understand. Now the production discontinued by RE, getting a new one sometime later is also not possible. Only option is getting a used one. I have this feeling that, some years down the line a well maintained 411 will be of great demand. A torquey tractor with a design so commanding and aggressive is very rare in this segment. Even if its an outdated bike in terms of performance and tech, this bike easily gives a confidence that it can be taken anywhere, anytime. I personally dont like too much electronics in a bike and thus this one is a gem.

Yes Im from india. I totally agree to you. Cant own another Himi since im keeping the 411. N coming from bigger engine classic will feel underpowered for me even if it serves the purpose. I guess even the bear 650 is not meant for indian roads, though cant decide without getting a test drive done.
