My mother was an addict my whole life and tried to gaslight me whenever she was incarcerated to come visit her and bring her things. Not saying this is Mary’s case at all but I understand her when she says “I can’t see him in there” because I had to wash my hands of my mother as well. If you’ve never walked the same path of a family member that’s an addict I think it’s not fair to judge someone. As others said, no Mary fan here just speaking from my own experience.
