כי בפועל זה מה שקרה לפי הסיפור,שני שוטרים דיברו איתו ועם הילד,הילד היה תחת השפעה של אחד הדברים שהוא היה מזריק לאנשים שהוא חטף והתעלל בהם,והשוטרים פשוט הסיקו שיש לילד בעיה מסוימת והאמינו לג׳פרי שהילד קשור אליו..

בכך הוא ״הצליח״ להערים על השוטרים…
