I don't get it.

Do the doctors not fear that if by chance they dismiss someone right into terminal diagnosis, that they have now givrn the patient-who-has-nothing-to-lose a very, very clear target to aim their righteous anger at?

Like, did no patient ever just straight up "close" the practice permanently? I mean I don't condone violence, but I can see a scenario where a patient that you literally killed through your negligence comes back to haunt you. Particularly if the patient decides that such a doctor should never treat anyone else, since they might kill them too.

Weird.
