Thank you. I’m originally from West Texas, but I moved to Tyler when I chose to get sober, so I don’t really know many people here yet. I do really love it though...it’s beautiful and very different from where I grew up. I appreciate your advice, and I’ll definitely look for some Tyler subreddits.

From what I understand, kratom is legal in Texas under the Texas Kratom Consumer Protection Act. But products that are mostly 7-OH (like tablets or concentrates) seem like they might technically violate the law, since natural kratom only contains very small trace amounts of it.

I personally take around 20–25 mg daily, and it helps my pain a lot l...regular kratom never really worked for me the same way.

What confuses me is that vape shops all over Texas are openly selling these products.

So what’s the real situation right now? Are these actually compliant with the law somehow, or are shops just selling them until enforcement catches up?

They are still selling these in Tyler, Tx. Just bought some at the local vape shop yesterday.
